Skate Israel III hosted 36 competitors from 12 countries. The 2002 Olympic Champion Alexei Yagudin took the first place in the Men's competition. Michael Shmerkin was placed second. Galit Chait and Sergei Sakhnovsky championed in the dance event, while the reigning ice dance World Champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Stavisky were placed behind them.
