Straight to the Training Session from Skate America 2007

Sasha and Roman Zaretsky have just got back home from Skate America 2007 with Cup of China just less than two weeks ahead. As the elder of the siblings, Roman assumes a leading role in the interview as well.

-Roman, what is your and Sasha's overall impression of the first competition of the season?

-We quite enjoyed it. And our performances were well received by the audience.

-So, you waltzed, donned an Oriental theme in the original dance, and went out on an Exodus in the free dance? (The music theme for this year's free dance is the popular music piece "Go Down, Moses")

-The Austrian Waltz compulsory is not so easy to perform, and we made a small mistake there, but the original and the free dance went off smoothly.

-Are you gearing yourselves up for the next competition?
-Definitely. We got back and went straight to the rink.
-Who will be your immediate competitors in China?
-We are not thinking about it. Our goal is perform as well as we can.
-We will be looking forward to it as well.
