Ice Skating – 9th Place in World – Brother and Sister Zaretsky

The skating couple, the brother and sister Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky, finished in ninth place in the World Figure Skating Championships in Goteburg Sweden with 179.21 points, the highest points they have ever achieved.
For the Zaretsky, this result concludes a good period after they finished in 8th place (in the top 10) in the European Championships.
In less than two years the winter Olympics will be held in Vancouver, and it seems that Israel will be well represented in figure skating.
Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky are being trained by the Olympic Israeli skater Galit Chait and have improved immensely, in the past they were rated 4th in the Junior World Championships, last year they were rated 14th in the Senior World Championships after they were rated 20th the year before.
