Maxim Shipov
Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, Maxim Shipov has been representing Israel in senior men since 2007. Before making “aliya” (becoming a new immigrant) the same year, he had competed at Skate Israel 2005 placing 5th. He is coached by 4-time European silver medalist Vladimir Kotin and Elena Chaikovskaia, the coach of 1980 Olympic ice dance champions Natalia Linnichuk and Gennady Karponosov and 1999 senior ladies champion Maria Butyrskaya. He was previously coached by Marina Kudriavtseva and Igor Rusakov.
