Categorized Under: IISF

Born in Houston, Dallas, where her father was working on a business assignment, Tamar first tried rhythmic gymnastic, but later switched to figure skating as she shuttled back and forth between Israel and the US. She was both on the junior and senior circuit until last season and is currently representing Israel in senior ladies. Tamar is coached by Mark Mitchell and Peter Johansson. A bout of tendonitis prevented her from taking part both in National and European Championships in the 2008-09 competitive season.
