Ekaterina Sokolova (nee Sozinova) and Fedor Sokolov are originally from Moscow, Russia.  They teamed up in 2003 and got married in March 2008 becoming a  couple off-ice as well. Ekaterina and Fedor have been representing Israel since the 2007/08 season. They have been coached by Georgiy Proskurin, Vladimir Zakharov, and Nikolai Velikov. Their programmes have been choreographed by Elena Maslennikova and Galit Chait.

The pair had to withdraw from the 2009 European Championships in Helsinki after Ekaterina had a deep cut of her right knee with a blade.
